Is This Site About Religion?
I desire to make it very clear that what I discuss on my site and through my products and services is not about Religion. It is, however, very much about Spirituality.
To me Spirituality is all about the unseen nature and character of Life. It's this unseen nature and character of Life as well as unseen laws and principles that govern Life.
I believe that the greatest mistake people have made is that they've taken the Spirit out of their lives. In doing so, they've thrown out the timeless laws and principles that lead to true success, happiness, and prosperity, not to mention the very Source of All Abundance.
Is it any wonder that we're experiencing a character crisis in our societies today? Is it any wonder that so many people fail again and again to achieve their goals? Is it any wonder that so many live desperate lives of mediocrity, suffering, lack, and loneliness?
This is why "the Wisdom of the Ages" as taught by the top success teachers today is centered around the principles of Spirituality, to help us understand that the laws of success and happiness are spiritual laws.
I believe that if we really desire to achieve a high-level of success in our lives, it's time we brought the Spirit back into our lives.
Again, I'm not talking about Religion.
I believe that today Religion is quite different from Spirituality, though anciently Religion and Spirituality were the same thing.
The original purpose of Religion was to teach Spirituality, which is the key to a fullness of Life, and likewise, a fullness of Business success.
I believe that pure Religion offers the perfect symbolism for pure Spirituality. However, these truths have been lost or misunderstood as people have taken a literal interpretation to the teachings rather than a symbolic interpretation. Additionally, scribes and others intentionally or unintentionally made changes to the texts.
Anciently, Religion/Spirituality focused on the Doctrine of Oneness, or Unity. Today, while Spirituality is still about Oneness, Religion has embraced the Doctrine of Separation.
In addition, over the centuries from those ancient times Religion has been corrupted by religious leaders who used Religion to gain power, control, wealth, and many other personal objectives.
Today, Religion has lost its influence in the lives of many people who have experienced oppression by those leaders.
Because of Oppression and the Doctrine of Separation, many have concluded that "Religion doesn't work."
"Religion would have you take its word for it. That is why all religions ultimately fail.
"Spirituality, on the other hand, will always succeed.
"Religion asks you to learn from the experiences of others. Spirituality urges you to seek your own.
"Religion cannot stand Spirituality. It cannot abide it. For Spirituality may bring you to a different conclusion than a particular religion -- and this no known religion can tolerate.
"Religion encourages you to explore the thoughts of others and accept them as your own. Spirituality invites you to toss away the thoughts of others and come up with your own."
Many have had too many painful experiences with Religion to invest the time and effort it takes to sort through the error and false doctrine to find the truth.
While so much of the plain and precious truths regarding pure Spirituality has been changed or removed from Religion over the years, fortunately much of the symbolism that teaches pure Spirituality still remains.
My belief is that these truths are found in all religions not just one, mostly buried in their respective symbols, metaphors, allegories, parables, etc.
Further, I believe that these truths are also found outside of Religion. Truth is everywhere! Even in the most unlikely of places!
When Jesus was on the earth, he made this statement:
"These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father."
I believe this "Father" is the Source of All Abundance, the Infinite Intelligence that fills the immensity of space, that's in all things and through all things, and that gives light and life to all things.
I believe that now is the time for the fulfillment of Jesus' statement. I believe that this generation is a time when Truth is flooding the earth! Many of the plain and precious truths that have been lost have been and are being restored in our day, through a variety of sources, both in and out of Religion.
The fascinating thing is that even Science today is crossing over into Spirituality! Quantum Physicists now call "Father" Energy! What a great time to be alive!
This brings me to my point: To present my thoughts and concepts about achieving business success, which is based in spiritual principles, I'll use many things that are taught in Scripture, which to me includes all sources of Truth, not just what is considered to be "canonized scripture."
However, because so many people are turned off by Religion in general or by a specific Religion, when I quote a passage I won't include the source.
I desire that my readers and my clients focus on the concepts being presented, not the source of the concepts. True credibility comes from the Truth of the concept not from the source of the concept.
Therefore, I use a wide variety of sources both in and out of Religion. I ask that you seriously ponder the concepts presented to determine the truth of them for yourself rather than trusting or rejecting the source alone.
For non-scriptural quotes, I will usually include the source, as very few, if any, negative associations exist with these sources.
